Where in Texas were you? North Texas, Central Texas, East Texas, and around Houston all have lots of trees. West Texas is desert, and where I'm from, south of San Antonio, is all Mesquite and Sabal Palms.

I was actually in the Pacific Northwest, for the third, in June. We (mom, sis, bro-in-law, and nephews) drove from Eureka to Seattle. I was shocked at the heat compared to previous trips. I hadn't seen the Oregon coastline before. I was in awe.

As for my teaching, I teach Greek and New Testament at the Southern Bible Institute. Where in Germany did you work? My neighbor is from near Leipzig and was with the Jesus Freaks.

Greetings. Yes, summer is upon us (your status). Our wet spring in Texas is over and it's back to the triple digits with little to no wind. What is your area of post-graduate study?

thanks for the tips! I appreciate it! I need to remember to check back because I don't get "notifications!" :-) That probably means I am a bit too busy! :-)
I am glad to hear that relationships have formed outside of what this site is designed for! We could all use more Godly encouragement from brothers and sisters!

Hi Jenn! I'm processing those new perspectives…a few are more than just hard to swallow. One big lesson, don't always rely on others evaluations, learn to step up and ask the big questions yourself. Tough..very tough. On a lighter note. Nice checking in and seeing things on MW.

Uh, of course! ;-) Go Team USA! (and maybe Colombia as a second).

Thanks, Jenn! I appreciate it! :-) Home is both places! Now homework is in full swing! Eek! I'm so excited to be finally starting! :-)

Oh, savoring good gelato for an hour is easy. Melted is great. The hour may have been an exaggeration, but it seemed like many minutes of pleasure. ;-) Mmmm, I love spätzle. Have fun making spaghetti!
It's finally a nice week, and the blossoms around town are starting to pop out. The only downside is the drove of tourists.
