The moonstone is not really a page turner. Having it on audio helped a lot. Unless you like noticing things like how the author uses point of view to create character, I'd suggest looking for an abridged version.

Thanks for the recommendation. I got an audio version of the moonstone and loved it. Great character driven plot. The narration is from several different characters and the writing is fantastic for each one. It is a little slow moving but the writing males up for it. Several of his "christian " characters are negative but on the whole just my kind of book.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will let you know what I thought of it once I am done. I read all of Sayers and pretty much as much as I can of Conan Doyle and agatha Christie.

    Hey Suzy

I've been playing volleyball more often since summer is here. You have an immense plethora of shows to follow. Hope you have been doing great.

    Hi Suzy,
Since we are still definitely a homeschooling co-op, there's not really any special education required. I have a college degree, but not in education. The curriculum we use was created for homeschooling moms, so it's pretty self-explanatory. Of course, any education expertise is GREATLY appreciated! If you're interested specifically in our co-op here in Laos, let me know, and I can give you more information. We're always on the lookout for more help, but it is on a raise-your-own-support basis at this point.
